The purpose of our farm is to provide top quality diverse forage mixes for livestock producers throughout the central upper peninsula. Quality means nutrient dense forages that provide complete nutrition that are processed in a manner that retains the feed value until it is fed. We strive to utilize the latest science available to assure nutrient balances are complete, and that soil health is continuously improving. We appreciate our customers’ aversion to herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides, and are committed to being completely free of these on our fields. With today’s science, and a view where sustainability is a priority, we fully intend to make our soil health better than it’s ever been. By doing this, our forages will also be as good as they can be. We see agriculture reaching a tipping point, where Regenerative Agriculture becomes mainstream. We want to help play a role in making that happen.
